The Blenders After 11 years of bringing us great harmonies, these guys have decided to part ways and pursue other interests. They were (and still are) one of my favorite a cappella groups. They will be missed, but their music will live on. Thank you guys! Cool harmonies, cool clothes, nice guys. It makes me sick that their high tenor can do "whistle tone." But that's why I love 'im! I have to give some love to my fellow Canucks now, don't I? An amazing vocal group, they're considered as one of the pioneers of contemporary a cappella. Their latest release, "Fabric of Life" Remix CD, features Rockapella's VP extraordinaire, Jeff Thacher, on their cover of a George Michael song called "Monkey." This song kicks! A Cappella with an attitude. They're currently on hiatus, indefinitely. What other a cappella group has a CD with a "Parental Advisory" label on the cover? LOL Their cover of the Beatles' "Come Together" kicks major butt. Who would've thought '50's Doo-wop can be downright hilarious?! Royce (the bass) playing Elvis playing Neil Diamond? You have to come check it out for yourself! Ally McBeal? Britney Spears? What are you guys thinking?! And I didn't know the Mickey Mouse Club theme song can be sung with so much soul! Berndaddie, you rock! L.A. based band. Been doing the L.A. club scene for years. These guys are amazing! If this group ever plays in your area, you HAVE to come check them out. One listen to their ballad "A Promise I Make" and you'll definitely be a fan! Gabe Rutman's (spiralmouth) other band.
